Disable credentials prompt when launching SCCM Reporting

I’m annoyed by the credential prompts every time I want to view a SCCM report. Below is what I found to disable the prompt:

Windows Server 2003
Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
– On Windows Components Wizard, uncheck Internet Explorer Enhanced Security Configuration, then click Next.

Windows Server 2008
Computer Management > Security Information > Configure IE Esc
– Choose Off for Administrator and Users, then click OK.

Now my SCCM Reporting credentials prompt is gone. 🙂

think you’ll find that’ll upset your security team
it’s far easier to just add the Server to the local intranet zone
IE without Enhanced security justs passes your credentials putting the your Server into the intranet zones does the same
